Andrea González (Mexico)

Andrea is a multi disciplined circus artist, born in Mexico.

She graduated from ESAC with her solo called L’aube. This piece is a poetic aerial straps act with multiple sources of inspiration such as: the Belgian skies, the aztec smoking mirror and much more. The combination of those things leads to a journey from dawn to dawn.

Later in 2021 she co-founded Soif totale with her ex-classmates from ESAC Soif totale is a circus company based in Belgium which has created and is currently playing an indoor and outdoor multidisciplinary show.

Andrea is experienced in multiple different disciplines: hand to hand, hair hanging, aerial silks, hammock and aerial hoop.

Dance wise she has a big history in classical dance that started when she was 3 years old and has more recently complemented her classical background with contemporary dance skills. Aside from circus and dance she is passionate about visual arts and graphic design.

Aerial Straps workshop : 

The aim of this workshop is giving a good technical grounding in working on the straps, teaching how to find the most natural way to move in the air and finally to inspire aerial artists to integrate this newly acquired awareness into their own artistic approach. 

*Suitable for all aerial artists with intermediate level in their discipline. (Silks , Rope, Trapeze, etc…) (Example: ideally Inversion/Straddle up on two arms (straight arms, straight legs)

Aerial Silk workshop: 

The aim of this workshop is to introduce the dynamics in aerial silk, working with specific exercises to improve elements like windmills and drops. 

*Suitable for all aerialist with minimum 1 year of aerial silk experience.
